Abstract Cistus heterophyllus subsp. carthaginensis is considered one of the most endangered plants Spain and has been object to many conservation programs research projects. Until now, only two small spots were located in Europe: a population self-incompatible specimen was found Valencia another Cartagena, disturbed by human impact hybridization with close-relatives. Therefore, this taxon defeating issues current plant strategies Mediterranean workgroups. In study, we report, describe cense new at furthest accessible area isle Cabrera Gran Archipelago National Park.
